At YYCPSYC we provide psychoeducational Assessments to children, adolescents and adults.
A psychoeducational assessment is used to determine the presence of a learning disability or ADHD. With the assessment results, you will gain specific information regarding how your child learns. This gives you and your child's teacher strategies to help your child learn in ways that makes the most sense to them.
As an adult, understanding how your brain works can help you target your daily routine to fully optimize your time and resources. This, along with an understanding of your specific strengths, helps you make the most of each day!

Caroline LaPierre Registered Psychologist

Caroline is the owner of YYCPSYC. She is specialized in complete psychoeducational assessments.

Caroline has significant experience working with adult ADHD assessments.

She works with children, adolescents and adults who have concerns about learning disabilities, attention and autism.

Caroline has been working as a psychologist for 10 years. Before becoming a psychologist, she was a French Immersion classroom teacher. Between these two careers, Caroline has worked with over 2000 families. She has also worked for Alberta Education.

Caroline has a very thorough understanding of how education works in Alberta. She knows how to get students the best support possible.

Every child assessment includes a discussion about the next steps and how to approach the school to ensure that your child gets the help they need.

Caroline offers complete assessments in French and English. This is ideal for French Immersion students and bilingual families.

Caroline will walk with you through every step of the process to ensure that you come away with confidence in your assessment and feel empowered to take the next steps.
