At YYCPSYC we provide psychoeducational Assessments to children, adolescents and adults.
A psychoeducational assessment is used to determine the presence of a learning disability or ADHD. With the assessment results, you will gain specific information regarding how your child learns. This gives you and your child's teacher strategies to help your child learn in ways that makes the most sense to them.
As an adult, understanding how your brain works can help you target your daily routine to fully optimize your time and resources. This, along with an understanding of your specific strengths, helps you make the most of each day!

Caroline LaPierre Registered Psychologist

Caroline is the owner of YYCPSYC. She is specialized in psychoeducational assessments and social/emotional/behavioural interventions.

Caroline has significant experience working with adults with ADHD and adult ADHD assessments.

She works with children, adolescents and adults who have concerns about learning disabilities, attention and focus, and autism.

Previously a classroom teacher, Caroline has a firm understanding of what accommodations are appropriate and best suited to success in the classroom.

Caroline is a former French Immersion teacher and offers complete assessments in French and English. This is ideal for French Immersion students and bilingual families.

Caroline will walk with you through every step of the process to ensure that you come away with confidence to take the next steps.
